Maria Bartiromo is an American author and television journalist.

Maria is a native of New York and attended New York University. She worked at CNN for five years before joining CNBC television. At CNBC, she became the co-host of the Closing Bell program as well as the host and managing editor for the Wall Street Journal Report and is credited as being the first reporter to broadcast live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange daily.

Maria has been a guest on various television shows and the recipient of several journalism awards. In addition she is a magazine columnist and author of two books: Use the News: How to Separate the Noise from the Investment Nuggets and Make Money in Any Economy and The 10 Laws of Enduring Success.
