Caroline Wozniacki, born in Odense, Denmark, is a Danish tennis player. As of August 30, 2010, Wozniacki is ranked World No. 2 on the WTA Tour. Wozniacki has won ten career titles and was the runner up at the 2009 US Open.

Caroline is considered to be a defensive counter-puncher and wins many points by forcing opponent errors and running down so many balls. Her terrific movement and speed allows her to retrieve most balls hit by her opponent. She has improved her game and has become more aggressive and controlling of points.

Caroline is able to effectively absorb power from her opponents with her forehand. However, it is her two-handed backhand which is her more powerful and controlled wing. She is known for her backhand down the line. The semi-western grips that she employs on both wings allow her to hit her shots with topspin.

She can play relatively well on all surfaces. The best part of her game is her mental toughness which brought her to the finals of the U.S Open.

Caroline is the daughter of native-born Polish parents, father Piotr Wozniacki and mother Anna Wozniacki. Piotr Wozniacki guides her as one of her coaches. Caroline is from a quite sports-minded family: Her mother played on the Polish women's national volleyball team. Also, Caroline's father played professional soccer football in Poland and in Mannheim, Germany, and the Wozniackis moved to Denmark when he signed a contract to play for the Danish football club Boldklubben 1909.

Caroline's older brother Patrik Wozniacki is a professional soccer football player for Brønshøj BK in Denmark.

Since the U.S. Open Tennis Tournament in 2009, Caroline Wozniacki has been an endorer of and spokeswoman for Stella McCartney's line of Adidas sportswear."Face of Stella McCartney". When she was asked about her hobbies, Wozniacki told Teen Vogue magazine, "I like [watching] (team) handball, soccer, swimming, playing the piano, and all kinds of different things."
