Ashley Aubra Jones, born in Memphis, Tennessee, is an American television soap opera actress.
Ashley rose to fame on the long-running CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless, playing Megan Dennison Viscardi from 1998 to 2000 and returned for a visit in 2001. During her time on the soap, she earned two Daytime Emmy nominations for the role.
She currently plays Dr. Bridget Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful and has done so since December 2004. The role was originated by Agnes Bruckner and later played by Jennifer Finnigan and Emily Harrison. Ashley also stars as Daphne on the second season of HBO's True Blood.
Ashley grew up in Houston, Texas, and attended Houston's High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (HSPVA). She graduated from Lamar High School. She is a graduate of Pepperdine University in Malibu, California where she earned her BA degree, studying in Malibu and in Florence, Italy.
Ashley is married to writer Noah Nelson (son of actor Craig T. Nelson).
She currently resides in Los Angeles with her two dogs.
Ashley also likes to play the violin and also likes hiking and writing.
She has a sister, Jordyn Jones.
