Katy Perry and Victoria Beckham to be Idol Judges

Since Paula Abdul announced her departure from American Idol, the show has been busy lining up big name guest judges. Katy Perry and Victoria Beckham have already been named to be Idol Judges in the upcoming season.

Though the producers for American Idol is still holding out hopes that they can convince Paula Abdul to come back, it is looking less likely by the day. So in the mean time, they've been talking to many female pop stars about being guest judges on the show. Katy Perry and Victoria Beckham will be judges for the audition shows. Auditions for the upcoming season starts on Sunday, August 9.
